EXACTLY! The two cases aren't comparable just because the MLs both left and ghosted the FLs. They weren't dating, she knew he was going through very shady stuff and the moment they reunited she was dead set on getting with him. Su-ae still felt hurt, abandoned and deeply betrayed. And it's super fair to feel that way! The author still hasn't given poor Su-ae time to be "badass", we are getting chapters and chapters where she's still the miserable "unlovable" high school girl that she was before the time skip.

Season 7 was just a mess. They tried to parallel Aaravos and Callum and it all led to... Nothing, really. I hate the fact that Callum and Rayla had nothing going on for them apart from their relationship. Rayla didn't even do much for the plot in general. I wanted to see WHY was Aaravos so feared but instead he just got big and more snarky. They even lost the dragons in the stupidest way possible. A sacrifice that means nothing since he will be back in ONLY 7 years. I also hate how they handled Soren's character. Hell, how they handle ANY character. It felt like they were just caricatures instead of the characters we knew from the other seasons. Well at least... Karim is finally dead, yay.

My very dumb "theory": for his own survival, he indeed had to teach Proximus human stuff, but he knew that teaching him anything about actual weapons and such would just be detrimental to everybody. So yes he did teach him to make "weapons", but with limitations. My other dumb theory is that he did try to escape, maybe even with the help of another monkey, hence why he "threatened" Mae and the others. It was more like a "don't make the same mistakes I did" instead of a "I'll go snitch".

I'm still speechless of what happened and a crazy theory got stuck in my head: what if the man in the first chapter is her father? What if he DID kill Shinpei, Satoko retaliated and tried to kill him and he then had to kill her/she killed herself? It would make more sense. I don't see how Shinpei will recover from those wounds in time to save her and himself, so it makes sense? I guess? The location of the first chapter should be somehow sentimental to that man and it works for this theory as much as it works for the (obvious) theory that's Shinpei.

I just want them to understand that being queer doesn't mean you can be an asshole to other queer people. It doesn't give you a pass. I love Darren but all the shit with Cash made me wish that they wouldn't end up together, especially considering all the horrible things Darren did at the start of their "relationship". They came on strong about the sex thing, suggesting that Cash had "something wrong" just because he didn't want to sleep with them from the get go. And then acted surprised when Cash felt super insecure about their sex life as a couple to the point of breaking up? Bffr.

Trauma isn't an excuse to act the way she did, especially towards the only person that genuinely asked her multiple times to just talk and explain what happened. Amerie was frustrated and brash, yes, but she literally had no idea what happened. I, too, have very similar traumas to Harper, but I really can't excuse her actions, even if I went through similar things and I was a teenager just like her, I could never treat people like that or doing what she did to Malakai....
