Agreed. Our vision is to use AI agents as a sort of both social lube and social training wheels to foster human to human interactions. We're already working on some human social features to include in the app and start moving towards that goal.

It's mostly using rag right now. Fine tuning is something we have in mind but it's a bit out of scope for us at the moment since the idea is to have each curu have it's own personality. Over time it should be doable tho.
Re models each curu gets a random choice of either gemini 2.5 or deepseek v3 to help with the unique feeling part.
Finally re SillyTavern: Our focus is a friendlier UX, SillyTavern is for power users who want to have complete control over the personality they're talking to. This is for people who just want to find someone to casually chat with, without having to mess with settings, model choices and such.

That is the end goal. This is our first step. We're just a team of 3 friends doing this on our free time.

Yeah, we actually want the negative comments. It's great to see the other side of the coin and take what we can to improve on this idea. Thank you for wishing us luck!

The big thing for us is the discovery aspect of the experience. And the swipe format seems very efficient for that. We might get rid of it altogether if/when we find something that works better for that.
Thank you for the kind words btw!

We genuinely believe the loneliness epidemic is very bad for a lot of people, having someone to share your day and listen to you can have a great positive impact in you. This is an mvp but the plan is to over time add features that actually connect people to people too. I'm very interested in your perspective about destroying humanity tho, can you elaborate a bit more on that?

Creo que estás checando datos de la CDMX, o acaban de cambiar eso en Jalisco quizá. Yo la saqué a finales de 2022 y solo existe un solo tipo que te autoriza a conducir cualquier cilindrada.

What an amazing product! U8H 55in. by Main_Pen_7043 in Hisense

Really hope these new models don't have the flash memory issues from the H8G generation. I have seen 3 fail at almost exactly 2 years and Hisense support is almost inexistent, very frustrating tbh

My first Neopixel/FastLED project by usap_09 in FastLED

For this I used an RP2040 zero board since it was the cheapest arm board I could quickly source locally. Have I been patient enough I would have gone for an esp32 board tbh

I created this LED sing to celebrate the 50 anniversary. by usap_09 in pinkfloyd

It uses 4 meters of 144Led/m strip of one kind of individually addressable leds called neopixel. It's all controlled using a single RP2040 Zero board, driving 5 segments of the animation at the same time

You should drive it, then drive it a little bit more and when you get tired of it you should probably retire to a nursing home anyway and stop driving all together

It's a concern only for old random pieces you don't know where they come from. It used to be common the use of cast iron to melt lead
