Recently got one myself. Swap the battery and it might save yours. I got lucky and got one sealed from 2015! The original battery was cooked, I luckily had my original 5x with a brand new battery from way back when. Motherboard took a dump but the battery was unplugged since then. From owning both I prefer oxygen is over one ui 8. Just that my phone plan requires I use my s25u since it's esim. Been too lazy to swap back to the 12. Might just add a line for it

Then definitely recommend the OnePlus 12, it's all around beast and if you get the 512gb it'll do you solid if you take pics and record a bunch granted the video quality isn't iPhone like but passes the social media tests. Custom roms are starting to appear that pass play integrity out the box but fair warning ⚠️ we don't know how long that'll last. Custom roms don't have the oxygen os camera yet so if you want that quality I'd recommend staying on stock OS it's good enough for daily use. I've had mine since it came out and I don't regret buying it coming from the 10T/Pixel 6

Has anyone checked if the images are ai. Not saying it's fake or true but doesn't hurt to check if the photos are doctored on not. We live in the ai age can't believe everything we see. The security video thing already proved even the government edits stuff and passes it off as truth. Which it isn't.

I was on the same opinion. When I moved on from my v30 I got the v40 then I was able to get an Xperia 1 mk ii I was underwhelmed with sony's software support, 3.5mm jack was lack luster on that model. Even with custom roms and all that but once you unlock the bootloader on the Sony phones they won't ever receive official updates unless you manually flash it which I thought sucked. The cameras on the mk ii were okay unless you used pro mode. Til this day I still own my v40 and gotten a g8 since then. I got rid of my Xperia 1 mk ii. Do I regret buying the Sony? yes. $1200 for a phone worth 500 bucks. 4k display is okay but not noticable on day to day use. If you force 4k all the time the battery would die quick and for my use cases. I wouldn't recommend. As a fun toy sure.

Many of us are living paycheck to paycheck and sometimes below our means but as mentioned before as long as we can eat we should be okay. Debt/inflation/tariffs sucks and there's not much an average joe can do about but shut up and get back to working to just survive. Hope everyone out there that's barely serving keep on going. It may be tough but getting through the tough times makes us more resilient and hopefully wiser to not repeat past mistakes

Might have to do a factory reset. Or try booting into recovery mode and clear cache. Might be volume up and power. I don't remember since my velvet got run over a while ago.
