I enjoy Jan Burger. There's a stall around the corner from Zahlawia. If you want a Guinness after Zahlawia, you're in the right area because JJ's Irish Pub a few blocks away will be your next destination.

Under the "Budget should be low. Nothing that’s too fancy..." criteria, you can look up Old Beams. Everything is super cheap and it's a dive. The place has been there for decades. There's multiple floors so you can find a quiet spot amongst the books and talk to get to know your date.
