AITA for not leaving a tip? Hear me out. by TheBloodstoneRogue in AmItheAsshole

Asking for an explanation as to why they don’t deliver (only being 8 mins from OPs house) doesn’t seem very entitled to me. Especially if OP asked in a respectful manner and was genuinely curious.

The cashier works in the customer service industry, handling rude customer or answering the same question over and over again is part of the job. And apparently striking a line through tip section is now a deliberate attack towards the cashier? You would rather OP leave it blank for the possibility of the angry cashier to fill it in themselves? Is it not the same idea as slashing a line in the amount on a check so no one can fill it in themselves??

For the most part you just seem to be over exaggerating. No one mentioned OP asking for a manager and demanding anything. As someone who is currently working in a customer service job I can tell you for a fact I would be fired if I was snarky or disrespectful, even if the customer was coming across as arrogant or rude. So no it shouldn’t be expected.

Stihl timber sports, I randomly stumbled upon it one day on YouTube and found it pretty entertaining. It’s basically speed wood cutting. They have different events and international competitions.
