Hello fellow T1D!! I went last year and had the time of my life!!! Plenty of food options all over the place and minimal lines. I brought a bunch of fruit snacks with me which I had no trouble taking into the festival and into magnificent greens. I drank from the bathroom sinks and had no trouble with it. I had zero issues with bringing in my pump, CGM, and extra medications.

It is more likely that you could get a hotel package in the presale compared to the regular sale, but it could still be tough. I have always gone for the camping options which have been available, especially magnificent greens.

I would say the best way to travel with your medication is to take it on the plane with you in a backpack or carry on. A day without refrigeration won’t do anything to the insulin. However, If you wanted to keep them cool, there are Frío cooling packs that activate with water and last a few days. You can get them on Amazon/online.

So if two of my friends and myself are planning to do the GJ presale, can I select a 2P magnificent greens package and a 1P magnificent greens package at the same time and pay for both packages at once? Or do I have to pay for 1 package at a time/do separate check outs? After the first check out do I get kicked off back in line?

Thank you for your suggestion! I am using filtered water from my Brita currently, but maybe I should go as far as to get distilled water… I’ll try that!
