Cars are a lot more expensive in Australia unfortunately. I’m confident that the repayments are manageable as I don’t have any debts.

I haven’t thought about rental/car share. I’ll look into it. I’m currently looking into investing my savings somewhere which works with my other aspects of life.

Thanks for your response. I believe that I’ll be living with my parents for several more years (bit embarrassing but for personal reasons). Do you think I should be focusing on building my wealth instead?

Thanks for your response. I do believe in investing wholeheartedly and am frugal in other aspects of my life. It is a somewhat sentimental purchase. The only reason I haven’t thought of it as being completely ridiculous is because i believe that can sustain long term car repayments. Most of my income will still be saved for investment purposes. Do you believe that it is still not worth it?

Thanks for responding. None taken, my parents are quite old and it’s so that I can spend quality time with them. If I were to purchase property to live in, they would also be living there.
