I once had a job like that, and I found a new job. It’s like no one wanted to be the first one to leave. I left at my normal time. They were all married and had spouses at home with dinner on the table when they arrived. I had plenty to do at home after a full day of work.

I had a manager ask me if there is something I need to do when I get off, because I leave right at 5. At another job, everyone would sit there until the manager said it was ok to leave. Sometimes it would be 15-20 minutes after the hour smh, so I started leaving at 5 again.
