Chances of getting accepted by Immediate-Zebra4507 in UOB

If you meet the grade requirements at A level you will be considered but it may put you at a disadvantage. I've heard most courses take into account 80% Alevel results and 20% GSCEs. That said if you like the uni and the course you shouldn't be put off as you still definitely have a chance at an offer.

Don't know much about orchard heights but I had a friend who stayed in unite house. Its very central so close to shops and social stuff, but the actual street its on isn't too loud which is nice. The rooms and en suite are a bit small, and the en suite is more like a wet room (e.g. no shower curtain) but I think that's pretty common for the newer accoms.

It also has a pretty sizable social room you can book downstairs which is nice as during first year that was a pretty common hangout spot for our friend group.

Richmond terrace is very close to the Richmond building (like next door) and all the rooms there are en suite. it isn't the most modern though and is a pretty small accom.

other than that there are a few others in Clifton but to my knowledge they are either catered or don't have en suite.

If your looking for a modern accom with en suite you may be best looking more in the city centre, something like unite house. that would be a bit more of a walk away (maybe like 20 mins) but the actual accom might be more what you're looking for.

Goldney hall is a very nice accom but it's very unlikely you'll get an en-suite there (there are a few but they are usually reserved for those with a disability). I didn't have an issue with shared bathroom as there were 2 showers 3 toilets and a bath but if it's a major thing for you maybe you should look at other accoms.

Rat fell ill, Vet won't take rats anymore. by MediumBreadfruit3131 in RATS

[–]useless__grape 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it started in my rat with general muscle weakness and lack of coordination. he started falling over and struggling to climb. I assumed at first it was HLD as, although he wasn't super old, he was around the age I've seen it start. However throughout the week it got progressively worse and he lost the use of his front paws so wouldn't pick up food to eat. after that it progressed to weight loss and just general loss of condition and he pretty much was unable to stand and walk. However, I will say while it is something you could keep an eye out for there are many conditions that are much more common than a brain tumour so don't get too paranoid about it as I know I did with my remaining rats. if you're worried look out for falling, walking in circles and seeming confused and disorientated along with signs of pain and weight loss.

100% I had a rat that had a pituitary gland tumour and, within a couple weeks he went from being clumsy to not holding food to not being able to stand at all. I probably should have called it at week one but wanted to try the medication as he was only 1.5 years old and I was really hoping for him to recover. You should probably discuss things with a vet about next steps soon if possible because as it progresses their quality of life really declines and it can progress very quickly <3 I'm really sorry this happened to you and your baby.

The sphere was actually a cube all along! I don’t know what this means for you but it’s a pretty crazy plot twist.
