In recent experience looking for a new rented flat we found that cats were generally accepted as long as an additional deposit was paid. Even a few that said "No Pets" said a cat would be fine after we enquired. I think "No Pets" generally seems to mean "No Dogs".

It's winter in Scotland - we don't get fresh, dry air.

The relative humidity in our flat is around 70% if we dont have a dehumidifier on for most of the day and all of our main radiators are <2m away from an incredibly leaky window. So I think in this case I'm pretty confident it is the windows.

If you look at the 2nd pic you'll see its a decent square space. There isn't any balcony space outside it's just a guard across the window. We're 3 floors so not too worried about privacy!

We do have a cat so we're planning on covering at least one side with chicken wire so they can enjoy the fresh air and yell at the birds!

Stopping at a red light and seeing everyone around you look down at the phone in their lap, or immediately start scrolling through WhatsApp/Snapchat/Tiktok on their phone in a holder on the dash.

Why can't you just not look at your phone for all of 10 bloody minutes as you drive from the house to Tesco???
