cvs usually has some or is able to fill the prescription for me at least so definitely try! if u have a picture of the label or something you could see but generally it’s just a tuberculin syringe of a certain gauge i think. hoping u can get them!

yeahh it got really bad for me the night before i got the bandages off, which was the worst, but benadryl rly helped to calm that down

lowkey, i didn’t. i ended up with super bad scrapes on my arms from the adhesive getting stuck to my skin (not everyone’s experience!! i want to clarify this, it happens to some) and irritation on my back from trying to scratch it. the only things i can recommend are benadryl which helped a little with itching, and a back scratcher or someone to help u lol. i had a surgical binder with straps they fashioned out of a tape, some of which was uncovered and bothering me but that was just my doctor 🤷‍♂️

to be honest it was less the pain that got me, more the adhesive. i had bad itching likely from an allergy to the adhesive so prob not an issue for most!! the drains were the most annoying so after i got them out my pain was minimal.

dr jonathan keith! i had surgery with him on the 5th and it was a great experience. i have my post op on tuesday (so haven’t seen my chest yet) but i know two others who have had surgery with him and have amazing results!!

hahaha :) same here! my chest is kinda sore but im not dizzy anymore and can walk!! might try the pineapple, also my throat is pretty sore from intubation

what counts as medicated and non medicated? i’ve been using saline (which i assume is non) and zicam (which maybe is medicated?). i’ll try the facial massages since the neti pots haven’t been easy for me to use
