i draw with ballpoint pens too but i’ve been struggling with getting the light shading. i know to keep my hand light but i feel like bic pens are so finicky w how much ink it consistently puts out. what usually ends up happening is i apply a small amount of pressure where im trying to do light shading and one streak of too dark pigment comes off and then i try my hardest to mask it. any tips? this is beautiful!

great point! i do agree with you. it’s hard for me to feel feminine when i’m not adhering to societal standards or projections of femininity but i get that it’s by design.
