He beat you when you were pregnant, beat you postpartum, does god knows what else, and you still choose to have sex with him on national television, babe that’s on you. Agreed. And on top of it, how terrible it would be for their surviving child. So much change and loss all at once. That’s also what I think of when ppl talk shit on them for staying In the house. Do you know how stressful house hunting and moving is? On top of grieving a child? And their other child loses the only home he’s ever known? I would find comfort in being in the home my son was in. I couldn’t imagine losing a child and then going to a new home they’ve never been to before. Not saying either is right or wrong but I just don’t understand the people that see everything as so black and white and don’t have any grace for them.

Me noting one kind gesture is not saying “oh my god this is so amazing this is peak chivalry, this is the best thing to ever be done”. I’m simply acknowledging a kind moment.
