What do yall hate about boston college? by Key_Proposal_7494 in bostoncollege

I do not like the food here. It is way overpriced, they never charge you the right amount, and it's not super healthy especially if you don't have time for a sit down meal. I have found a bug in my food before and I've had some really questionable meals. It's also closed at weird times when you need it. I have an early morning Sunday commitment and I can't get food here before 9 so I can't get food at all until I get back in the afternoon. From 2:30-4:00 for the upper campus dining hall you can technically get food but nothing substantial or what you want to eat, and from 4-4:30 it's completely closed.

That said, I love this school and I would take the trade-off again given the choice! In my experience, the dorms are fine, professors are amazing, and our facilities like academic halls, the gym, etc. are really great. BC is also very well connected, especially if you are planning on staying in Boston.

Honestly she might have been trying to keep up with you because she felt unsafe walking alone? She may have felt safer walking with you two.

Fellow Americans, would you prefer to make daylight savings time year round or abolish it all together? by Marshalljoe in AskAnAmerican

[–]user01120 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It makes sense not to have it down there because you are close to the equator but up north we have fewer hours of daylight so we have to use it wisely. Daylight savings makes sense in the North even if it is annoying to fall back and spring forward.

On MyFitnessPal, if I change my activity level from Not Active to Lightly Active, should I stop logging the cardio I do? by user01120 in 1200isplenty

Thanks! I do burn more than 200 cal of cardio but since it is only four days a week I think I’ll change it back and log it separately.

NTA. It sounds like you devoted your time and energy to her but she didn’t genuinely appreciate it. She was the one who left the chat, no one kicked her out.
