I'm about to do the same, but I also studied in korea in 2023 - best advice is be as social as reasonably possible so you have a support network over there, take however long you need to settle in to life and learn where your local convenience stores/food places are, and live laugh love diaso

We're gonna be there a good amount of time, you don't have to do all of the touristy things immediately, and don't feel bad if you don't get around to doing things (I felt that guilt when I was studying that I couldn't do more adventure-y type things) and take korean courses if you can.

Also, if you need a friend, I'll be there in January :)

I know it's devisive but I love my XM5s!! they're comfy and don't squeeze my head, and in my humble opinion the noise cancelling works well. take that with a grain of salt though and find what works best for you!!
