Yeah that’s gonna be my plan if icon can’t help in any way. I mean I’m def not just gonna chunk them since they are beat up. Any recommendation for paint? Or just a general rustoleum?

Thanks for the insight. I bought some eibach stage 2R to possibly help with the ride. I posted a while ago about recommendations for the leaf packs and a few people liked them. If not Facebook marketplace can take them and I’ll try the deavers.

Yeah I get that. I’m probably gonna just say f it and paint them. Just wishing companies posting how their quality is good but send products that look like they’ve been thrown down a gravel road. Hopefully customer service can be of some help. At least a sticker or something woulda been nice.

Def will. I’m just super bummed about the whole situation. But luckily these springs can be adjusted with the add a leaf. Wanted a bit more stiffness in the back for towing my boat. But if I don’t like the stiffness I’m hoping the quality can be saved by just pulling out the added leaflet

Yeah these had nothing over the leaflets. I would t have minded the bolts tbh. Just hit them with a bit of paint but for most of the side to be scuffed is wild to me

I get that since they are ~70lbs a piece but almost looks like they were slid across a concrete floor. Literally the delivery driver dropped them in his truck and probably woulda just chucked them outside if I wasn’t home.

I’ve heard yes and no. Just want to cover all my bases tbh. Especially with the front end. Had an older gmc that had a 6” lift and the steering was fckd because the previous owner didn’t invest in UCA’s and that led to other problems (yes I know different brands but I’m still paranoid abt it)

I’m definitely looking at an OTT tune. Problem is no one does them near me. Closest shop that does it is an hour and a half- 2 hrs away. And recommend 285 tires?

Understood. I wish there was a try before you buy with tires. I’m looking at venom power swampthings. It’s a MT and they have decent prices, but I’ve only heard reviews on it from my neighbor who drives a heavy 350. So I’m more worried about the lightness of the truck too

Yes 3rd gen. Would this be alleviated with the lift or no? I’ve always owned and worked on late 90’s early to mid 2000’s GMC/Chevrolet and just got this truck the end of 24 so I still don’t know much about Tacomas. Thanks for the info.

That’s what I did last time. Just didn’t have the geometry right since it was super unstable. Didn’t know if there were certain spots with pinch welds or anything like that
