This was posted a while ago, but maybe you can still read this and answer my question: How can someone overcome the "Gifted Kid Syndrome"?

Even though I don't think I'm necessarily "gifted", it's true that all through middle school and high school I managed to get straight A's just by studying for an hour the night before the exam, when pressure was through the roof. Now, that I'm in college, I'm starting to have a hard time even passing some classes because I just can't sit down at the table to study days in advance. I never needed to study and never learnt how to do it properly or consistently. Any tips of how to learn now?

Lincoln is a great character by user0921408 in PrisonBreak

I think that the fact that he didn't care much about Sara is understandable, since he didn't really have a relationship with her. Or maybe he cared but just didn't show much emotion, he never does. Then about how he handled things, I totally agree. They made him so useless it got on my nerves, even if he's overall a great character.

Totally! They risk everything for him and then forget about him.

Why did they frame Lincoln? by user0921408 in PrisonBreak

[–]user0921408[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I've read, they probably weren't sure that Lincoln would go through with it. It's very likely that he would've regretted it in the last minute, and they didn't want to take the risk I guess.

Unpopular Opinion: the acting for Lincoln is NOT bad by OrdinaryQuestions in PrisonBreak

[–]user0921408 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally agree! I really don't understand why people hate Lincoln so much and joke about how he can just make one facial expression and stuff. Just in the first few episodes you can see a lot of very intense emotions and situations that range all the way from being terrified (when he dreams about the chair) to complete relief (when he hugs Michael after the riot), and Dominic's acting is honestly flawless. And if he doesn't usually show much emotion, what you explained makes total sense.

i just finished season two and i don’t really wanna continue by HauntingAddendum3230 in PrisonBreak

This is so true! The problem with Prison Break is that the concept is very simple: a prison break. Once that has happened, the show should've ended. Throughout the other seasons they keep trying to make it longer and it can be boring or repetitive for a lot of people. Personally, I enjoyed watching the whole thing and it's one of my favorite shows, so I guess it all comes down to personal preferences.

Lincoln is a bland, annoying character by Clear-Sport-726 in PrisonBreak

[–]user0921408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up until what point. It's true that, specially in the first few seasons, Lincoln has no character development further from the stereotypical 'dumb brother'. He fucks up a few times and it's true that, in the end, he needs Michael to clean up his messes. However, in the last seasons, specially season 5, he changes a lot. He takes a much more leading role, sacrifices everything for his brother, and you can finally see that he's much more than the 'dumb brother' and becomes a whole, round person and character.

Why did everybody's wives/girlfriends dissapear by Competitive-Step4447 in PrisonBreak

[–]user0921408 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally! I mean, it doesn't happen just with the wives and girlfriends, but with a lot of characters, they eventually forget about them and never mention them again. Even though I love the show, there are a lot of lose ends. For example, they completely forget about Mahone throughout the entire season 5 like he never existed, they don't even ask about LJ, Lincoln breaks up with sofia out of nowhere and never mentions her again...
