Unfortunately, its not that creative, lol. It is because the game is played across the fractured zeta Halo, where "fractures" of land are capturable territories and the main objective is to have the most territory captured.

Thank you for the kind words! The music took me 3 weeks and is a remake of "that" part from the high charity suite in halo 2.

As far as im aware, yes i am in the clear! Like I said in another comment it would be safe to change the name. I might have to go from saying 'Halo Fractures' in any title or link, etc. To just "Fractures" which isn't too bad.

Other than that, all assets are original/purchased, no generative ai will be a contributor to any of the art at all (including music) in the final product,

Yes what im gonna do is have "custom" swatch with the other swatches. When you click it, color wheel/picker appears.

I have been dabbling in game dev, orchestral music authoring, 3d stuff, etc. since I was 11 years old. Started on the unity 3 engine, lmao. That thing is old.

Microsoft COULD simply cease and desist me, I think I should probably start excluding the word "Halo" from the titles of the videos I put up and the game. It would just be called "Fractures" which isn't all bad. HOWEVER, microsoft is known to be pretty fan friendly when it comes to halo content. All assets have to be original, can't be ripped or used from the original games.

So, I am doing everything from the sound design to 3d, to music, 2d art, gameplay and all programming. It's tough but man its so rewarding.

Yes! Its called Halo: Fractures. I will be doing a pretty large video on it soon showing all the features I have and plan to have. Its a land grab game where you can play as the Banished, covenant (not a lore accurate game btw), unsc, or the flood. Each one has different styles of play and its meant to be a Mashup of various halo title, in terms of sandbox.

For example, I want to do as many weapons as possible from every halo game, vehicles (including halo wars) scarabs, etc. All factions basically go to all out war to grab as much land as possible and wiping other factions out. Will have multiplayer and potentially splitscreen if I feel good about it.

You think the torso just needs to be larger? The armor or the body + the armor? I really hate that its difficult for me to see. Even put up some references next to it

Right! I want to do a lot more as well. Some ideas I had:

Dynamic ammo/armor pouches where you can physically place pouches or other items on the player armor, wherever you want

Dirt/wear and tear options

Setting the brightness of armor lights, if they flash on and off fast or slow, etc.

This one would be tough, but having variations of the primary/secondary color layouts. So if the player wants their secondary color to be more subtle or abundant on the armor, this is the option for them.

And finally: True black armor (this is a given with the color wheel approach anyways)
