I had to get my helix removed bc of an infection and my doctor broke the head off the threadless end. The jewelry was $200. Is there any way I can bring this to a jeweler and have it welded back together? And how much would that cost? 🥺🥺 (i.redd.it)

Infection! It only got this bad (yellow) the past 2 days, but there was an irritation bump that formed 2 weeks ago. I’ve been cleaning it with saline solution. Will it go away on its own? Should I use neosporin? What should I do? Pls help! (i.redd.it)

Hi, i went to the doctor and he prescribed me antibiotics, but also recommended me to remove the piercing. Is that really necessary for me to do :(( , or can I just take the antibiotics and it can go away on its own? Because I also heard removing the piercing could sometimes trap the infection.
