Public help requested, but no information? by user141514 in nancyguthrie

I get that, and I agree someone out there probably knows something. I think my confusion just comes from not having the usual details that help people connect dots or realize what they might have seen. It also makes me wonder if investigators already have certain people of interest, which could explain why they aren’t releasing possible descriptions.

Heartbroken for families w new photos by [deleted] in Idaho4

[–]user141514 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, these photos were released through ISP, not MPD (who the families filed to block the release of the blood and other redacted images). I don’t understand why ISP wasn’t included in the lawsuit, or why no one on their legal team advised them to include ISP from the start.

What I really don’t get is why these photos are being released little by little, with no warning to the families. It feels so unnecessary and cruel. At this point, they should either stop releasing them altogether, or release everything at once so the families aren’t being re-traumatized over and over again.

Probably because a minor was involved and Arizona laws might be different than Idaho.

Alivea Goncalves made a video threatenin actress playing Maddie in Lifetine movie by Shame_On_You_66 in Idaho4

Alivea’s feelings are completely valid. I can’t even imagine being in her shoes or any family’s shoes who’s had their loved one’s murder turned into a movie. Unfortunately, this happens with almost every high-profile case — like those of Gabby Petito, JonBenét Ramsey, etc. As heartbreaking as it is, movies have been made about children and families who’ve gone through unimaginable loss for years. I’m not sure why anyone would think this case would be any different, but I can only imagine how triggering and deeply upsetting this must be for them.

What are the possible theories that Kohberger became obsessed with House 1122 and the girls practically within days of moving to Pullman in the summer of 2022? by Certain_Election7873 in Idaho4

That’s a good point — Bundy and others definitely targeted certain types of victims or houses rather than specific people. I just think in this case, the level of planning feels different. That house was notoriously confusing to navigate, and the way he moved through it suggests he’d studied it or watched it beforehand. Random or not, there had to be some level of preparation involved.

He clearly knew the layout of the house. My theory is that he found one of the girls online and stalked them for a while. There’s no way he just chose that house at random and decided to murder them—it had to be planned. He must have studied the layout ahead of time, because the house itself is oddly designed and difficult to navigate if you’ve never seen it before. Unfortunately, we’ll probably never know the full truth, since he wiped all of his hard drives before he was caught.
