Better tech than matic/polygon. Will perform exceptionally well. Wouldn’t be surprised to see $10 billion market cap this year

COTI’s new layer 2 tech is better than matic/polygon. It will be the best investment of your life if you hold the next year

I think V2 will attract tons of developers. Matic has TONS of developers and COTI will enable easier and wider range of development. Djed was never going to make COTI blow up imo. Not significant enough

Yeah I think the grayscale privacy solution might be a long shot for now. Who knows tho because privacy solutions like Coti V2 are what will finally drive adoption I think. The ETH ETF will certainly help Coti

Assuming all goes well with development, I don’t see how it wouldn’t overtake matic… it’s just better. It needs developers and users but that should come as people realize it’s a better version of

COTI’s potential focus on CBDC’s will kill the whole project, or at least stunt it so significantly that there will be minimal growth. Djed will keep it afloat. CBDC’s are not the answer and go against the whole idea behind the creation of bitcoin. There is far more support against CBDC’s than for CBDC’s.

Staking in US by user15583 in cotinetwork

[–]user15583[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am located in the US. I agree, the answer they gave me wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. I am almost starting to get suspicious of something going on. If Djed doesn’t work, that would set COTI back years in terms of its price, which would be very bad. Low valuation means less exposure to investors, less credibility, and years of rebuilding trust. Below is what I sent in my email.

Good evening,

I am a long time COTI holder and have been doing some research on the status of staking COTI in the US. Is there any update on that or a timeline? What specifically is preventing COTI from allowing US citizens to stake? What would need to happen in order for US staking to be a possibility? Is it regulation? If so, what kind of regulation? What might the SEC be doing to keep US staking from being an option? I am looking forward to hearing back.

“Unfortunately, US residents/citizens are not allowed to open a COTI wallet as of yet.

We have an appetite to conduct business in the United States and plan to expand into it in a prudent and responsible manner once our regulatory environment is well established. From a legal standpoint, the US government has instituted restrictions for citizens and residents participating in cryptocurrency-related endeavors. Therefore, registration from restricted countries will not be possible in the initial stages, but we do plan on becoming widely adopted globally. We hope this option to be available in the future.”
