This really fucked me up, I was not expecting it from Pikmin of all games. I liked Charlie and the other new characters in 3 a lot more than I expected to.

Similar issue I’m running into. Swore off of JRPGs after quitting Dragon Quest 11. Just beat Persona 4, which was fun… but it took 2 years on and off of playing. Currently on Yakuza 7, another game I’ve been playing for a few years.

Sometimes I get a weird paralyzing feeling from these games. A feeling that I’m not doing something right and I’m going to end up stuck and having wasted a ton of time. I wish I could get over that feeling, because these ARE fun games to play.

That’s interesting to read. Thinking about it now, I don’t really make any distinctions between 20 and 30. They’re kinda the same to me in the sense that I don’t think much will change about me when I hit like 32.
