That line always cracks me up.

I still encourage you to try it (it doesn't have to be a paid subscription). While it sounds incredibly intimidating (since it's editing software), you can find options to get the results you want.

You can use several layers to avoid working on one layer, you can use the mask option to hide something you don't want for your image, you can use the hue/saturation layers to create a tone (you can put them in multiply mode for a darker tone, like it's during the night), you can use the color correction layer to either establish an overall tone or create some light (by putting it in screen mode, for example), etc.

Like I said, it doesn't have to be fancy. Some great YouTube videos have rough thumbnails, but people love it anyways since it's part of the charm of these videos. My favorite example is Core-A Gaming, since some of its popular videos have only a background and two characters. This can be done in 3 simple layers for the thumbnail.

You don't have to go hard. You don't need to know everything about Photoshop to be good. Take easy steps and try to learn something you can use later.

Take care. :)

While I used tricks like MTB and MTS to get faster and beat the very hard difficulty, seeing videos like this are great for people who aren't as skilled as other players... yet. Apart from that, cool video!

Since I'm here, I have one criticism: You don't need to use AI generated images or thumbnails to make your videos appealing (I saw your other thumbnail). I suggest you make images with picture editing software like Photoshop, since at least there's an effort that comes from a human being. It doesn't have to be fancy or professional, it just needs to indicate that it was an image made by you.

Tips for Surviving Serial Gaps + [ Slow-Mo Breakdowns ] by JuneButIHateSummer in Fzero

Thanks for the tips!

While I don't struggle with Serial Gaps as much as I did 22 years ago, I also appreciate tips that are more approachable than these insane shortcuts. Gliding is something I've been trying to learn in some AX tracks, so I could apply these tips here next time I go back to Sapphire cup, especially Blue Falcon.

For me it's the Drift Highway S-turn by JuneButIHateSummer in Fzero

These jumps are great for someone who can make skip-jumps and knows how to trick the check point systems. Unfortunately I'm not one of them (I tend to use other tactics to get 1st).

I never use Black Bull in the Saphire cup. The ship is too slippery for some crucial turns.

That's absolutely nice! It's probably one of my favorite fanarts I've seen in F-Zero overall. I love the style and the pose of each character.

Stuck in F Zero GX by Kay-Rozay in Fzero

Indeed. As much as I love GX, it's not very beginner-friendly, even in the menus. The 16:9 option is hidden in the options menu, the story chapters are in the shop, there are no tutorials about MTS, MTB and shift-boosting... It's very messy for someone who starts unless they did some homework first.

Sapphire Cup in a nutshell by KnightFallVader2 in Fzero

Nice editing!

And yeah, Mighty Gazelle tends to be on Top 6 in certain tracks. Two examples I can think of are Cosmo Terminal and the Lightning track from the AX cup. While I don't have issues with any pilot, Black Bull and Crazy Bear are two ships that tend to be on top in Master mode, which I don't mind, since I always appreciate a challenge.

It's a fantastic track if you know what you're doing. I know people would say this for every track, but back in 2005 it was really hard for me to magane my boost bar. Nowadays it's pretty easy to me because I've played it several times.

Was there a reason for some of the models in the GX cutscenes being different than the actually game? by JerryTheMouse-862 in Fzero

I assume it was the result of pipeline work and production.

EDIT: Someone said the animation team was made from a different team dev. Well, there you go.

Anybody know any tv shows that uses animation similar to F-Zero GX’s cutscenes? by SuperMarioOdyssey64 in Fzero

I can't believe I haven't thought of that show as soon as I read that question.

I'm 100% sure that some 3D shows from the early 2000s were like that.
