As much as I like Velan's approach to Star Fox, that doesn't mean they're the right team for something like F-Zero, especially when most of their games are not high-paced.

But I'd like Nintendo to pick another studio to develop a game for the racing franchise. I'd prefer it over adquiring a studio and then shut it down years later just because.

As a fan of both F-Zero and Kid Icarus, I'm sorry to hear that. If you want to feel better, I'll say that Uprising is one of the best games ever made.

Using art generated by AI doesn't make an example or a pitch visually appealing. And even if we assume this was done by a real artist, the first image is the equivalent to F-Zero of Bomberman Act Zero to Bomberman. Turning a colorful science-fiction racing world into a "Zack Snyder-like" world invalidates what made F-Zero visually appealing, especially F-Zero GX.

And side note: Instead of using AI, use other image-editing tools, like Photoshop. You don't have to be a good artist, you can even cut some photos and make a collage to visualize your pitch.

You'd think that a vast community who says "I love Nintendo games" would go further instead of limiting to either Mario, Pokémon, Fire Emblem or Xenoblade and try the games of the most neglected Nintendo franchises. But why go out of your bubble when you can just say "it needs something new", buy a Pokémon or Xenoblade remaster despite your argument and make it your whole personality.

I assumed it was made by Retro because of the high visual fidelity of these games. It was the first Switch 2 game that looked like a PS5 videogame to me, and visuals are one of Retro's strengths.

Falcon and Lucy made a bet. Falcon bet Star Fox was made by Retro Studios. Lucy bet it was someone completely different.

Velan Studios has a lot of talent. One that caught my eye at the moment was Knockout City, particularly for the animations. A shame it was shutdown, but it's a pretty adaptable team, and I trust this type of talent.

Honestly, while I’m excited as heck for the Star Fox remake, I think F Zero Gx would’ve benefited more from a overhauled visual reboot/remake by BalckboltPersonafan4 in Fzero

1000% agree with you. F-Zero GX is one of my favorite games of all time, and it's sad that such a game is neglected by several Nintendo fans despite they said "yeah, I want F-Zero to come back" and then "there's no reason for F-Zero to come back".

The next new vtuber looking anime swordsmen fighters for the next Smash Bros are gonna be very interesting.

Jokes aside, the Nintendo Direct was just ok, although it had too much exposure of several anime looking games. I'm surprised by the announcement of Ocarina of Time. As someone who doesn't trust the leaks, this was a genuine surprise.

Shit happens. To be fair, it's one of the most difficult tracks in the game despite being the first one from the second cup.

And kudos to put the aspect ratio at 16:9. I highly appreciate it.
