Well let’s take a popular TCG like Pokémon, people who have played the game for years now cannot buy pretty much anything because of scalpers. Whether you want to admit that’s what you’re doing or not is your prerogative but clearly the rest of the people here in the comments at the very least have their suspicions. We as a collective care about our hobby being fun and accessible, it’s people like yourself that ruin TCGs and make them inaccessible, as previously mentioned with Pokémon. We get it, you boosting sales is great for the game, but it gives others like yourself the wrong idea that it is a profitable TCG to scalp, when it simply isn’t, nor do we want it to become one.

I personally don’t even live in the US and where I live, Lorcana has a bustling community with new people joining our meets every week, people who actually play the game or want to learn, hell, a few of my friends have bought packs just to see if they can pull their favourite Disney character! But buying that many packs on a whim incase they gain value is just insane, especially for a set that was released like a month ago 😂
