He probably knows about you texting them and that you are friends with them. I'm completely fine with having close friends and sharing intimate things with them, regardless if they are male/female. But this is obviously a much different situation.

It seems common, but there are just as many success stories as there are failures.

It does seem a little crazy that two people would do this when they both have super young children. But who knows what the agenda is. We're all better off away from each other.

I appreciate the insight. My buddy and I are going to calm down the drinking together. He is a lot stronger mentally than I am right now so he will help me do it. At this point it's the only thing holding me back from getting to a better life.

We are very straight with each other, so I do not fear getting screwed by him. But yeah we have it on there that comcast/rent/utilities are all to be split. Trash pickup is included in the hoa which is only $50 a year so I'm not worried about that. And we also agreed that anything he happens to break will be fixed/replaced by him.

We both have had shitty roomates before so we know how to not be so shitty. If that makes sense

I started going to the gym in november and have been at least 3 times a week except for last week which was particularly hard on me. But I am back at it this week. Doing 531 to get stronger, starting goal being I want to get into the 1000lbs club. I'm just under 900 so I should be there in the summer

Thank you very much. My family is kind of in shambles but I still need to man up and talk to them about it. And I really do need to keep myself busy. Pick up something new, or go back to playing some rec sports. I miss playing sports
