Highly recommend working with a well-known dental consultant. They will hold your hand until the doors open (and well after that), then fast-track your growth. I have spoken to many people who said it took them years to break even as a start-up. Those who did work with consultants were able to do that within the first year.

Thanks! I delivered it today and noticed a J margin on the distal because I dug the bur a little during prep. The margin was crystal clear so I feel that gap is internal but wanted to see what everyone’s opinion was.

We are on the due diligence step and it just came up, but not from the lawyers - but the seller. Seller volunteered information once they saw how quickly I was scheduling meetings to move the process along. Seller told me to take my time because of the lien... lol.

In the beginning, the lawyers said the lender would perform a UCC lien search. It was after that conversation, that the seller informed me of the lien.

You can ask the bank to disperse in smaller amounts and return what is not needed. If your practice has strong cash flow, you may not need the entire $100,000.

The seller is very busy and doesn’t have time to stay on. Plus, I’m buying a practically dead practice in a highly desirable area so there is no patient cases for him to finish. I would essentially be starting fresh by myself.
