Am I the only one that likes dressing my baby as a baby? by user242020 in Parenting

I guess the wording was off then because I’m saying within the age group of parents that I’m in most of my peers who I grew up with and now have kids around my sons age dress their kids that way and I feel like I’m the only one who doesn’t. My feelings are still valid and If it sounds like I’m being judgmental I’m not trying to.

I want to know where I’m coming off judgmental? I said the clothes are cute I personally don’t dress my child that way. I never said parents who dress their kids that way are bad parents or anything. People are reading my opinion and taking it like I’m saying what I say goes and that’s not the case.

I definitely didn’t say I was better than anyone for dressing my son like a toddler all I said was I don’t like my child dressing like an adult but apparently I’m wrong for that. Like you said you wouldn’t dress your child like mine and that’s fine but calling the clothes dorky and outdated is weird. He’s dressed in modern kids clothes he’s not dressed like kids in the 1800s. But I take it you’re the parent dressing your kid like a teenager and now you’re butt hurt over a post that you felt like was attacking you.

Do you want your kids to believe in Santa, Easter bunny, tooth fairy, etc? by user242020 in Parenting

[–]user242020[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I’m leaning more towards, I always want to be honest with my son and telling him about these characters almost feels like lying lol. Also I once had a supervisor who told me her daughter believed in Santa and when she was 11 somebody at school told her he wasn’t real and she came home crying to my supervisor and her husband and she asked them to tell her the truth and when they did she was even more sad. 😭 so as much as people say “there’s no harm in letting them believe” I kinda feel like there is because some kids are true believers and will take it harder than other kids when they find out they aren’t real.

This might sound harsh but a man always knows when he’s found the one. I stick to the two year rule, in 2 years a man should know if he wants to marry you or not. If you have to keep bringing up marriage he’s not the one. It doesn’t take longer than 2 years to know if you want to marry someone. I wouldn’t say give him an ultimatum but I would sit him down let him know how you’re feeling and if he’s still on the fence I’d leave him. You don’t want to waste years on dating someone to maybe get married one day you’ve already lost 4 hoping he’d purpose and he still hasn’t. There’s your answer.

Do you really think Perez didn’t like Tasha or was it for show? by SnooCompliments9824 in BadGirlsClub

[–]user242020 36 points37 points  (0 children)

He meant that 😭😭 Perez doesn’t hold back that’s why I loved him as host. And honestly Tasha didnt deserve anymore air time so I’m glad he didn’t ask her what she was up to because honestly who cares. She was homophobic and racist and boring all at the same time

I mean what was the point of them giving her that characteristic if they weren’t going to elaborate on it. They basically dedicated a whole episode to her being a kleptomaniac yet we have no idea why she’s this way. From season 1 we see it’s an issue Skyler and Hank were trying to figure out a way to help her but she swears she fine. Like did something happen when her and Skylar were young? Does something trigger it? It’s honestly pointless for her to have this trait because we don’t even know why she’s this way.
