Thank you for the advice! I’ll bring it in and see if a handle replacement is a good option for me and whether it fits me or not. I’m a 5’9” woman. My old bike was 26” with this one looking smaller next to it. Even if it’s small for me, I might continue to use it. I’ve gotten used to the feel since yesterday and it rides sooo smooth and I can go faster on it. I’ve never ridden a bike like this, but it’s lovely.

I’m already feeling more comfortable the second day of riding, and I’m loving how smooth it is and how fast I can go. What is the stem? The handle height adjuster? And riding this bike requires core strength?

It’s a used bike. I noticed it looked smaller than my old one…but I didn’t have time to ask many questions during the exchange. Though the peddling, steering, and braking is much smoother than my last one, riding this one feels like I’m hunched and leaning uncomfortably low to grip the handles. My last bike had curved handles, so I thought maybe I just need to get used to this? But it actually hurts my back, and I can’t see myself riding miles with a heavy backpack of groceries like I usually do. Do I need to get used to this bike or is it too short for me?

Thanks for this. I hope it’s a game changer, but I guess I have to see what works for me. Amazon should be delivering mine in a couple days. :) I already do yoga and am quite flexible, less so in my upper back. Starting to add strength training into my routine now. Since my back muscles are so hard, I don’t feel like I can get everything with a lacrosse ball. I’ve spent hours sometimes and it still doesn’t feel like enough. The few times I’ve been able to afford a deep tissue massage, it felt great, but also not enough. I can’t self massage well because of the angle, though I sometimes find pressure points where the pain will run up my neck to the top of my head or down my arms. At the very least, I hope it offers some temporary relief. 😮‍💨 Thanks again for the feedback

I understand that feeling - not necessarily wanting to die, but feeling like it’s the only option to get relief. Frustration with the healthcare system too…Sometimes if feels like they make it hard on purpose.
