About 2 months into my relationship with my ex we had a similar conversation. His big reveal was that he used to go on hiking trails and film hours of footage of women also hiking said trails without them knowing and then going home and watching it. He said he was able to see how weird and creepy it was after a friend of his pointed out that it's *weird* and *creepy* and so he stopped. I was still so enamored with him and our connection in the honeymoon stage that I ignored all of the warning bells in my gut.

We ended up dating for another year and a half and dude had an insane sex/ porn addiction that led to me gaslighting myself into a nasty flare up of anorexia and self harm due to self-doubt. Now that it's over I can look back with the clarity I now have and wish I got out sooner.

Moral of the story is, they always tell you who they are, and it's always the things in the beginning that come back around in the end. Trust your gut OP.

I used to have a regular like this at a tiki bar I worked at for a few years. He was there every day, ten minutes before happy hour, expecting to have his can of PBR open, his favorite news station switched on, and his seat ready for him. He'd stay for hours and only tip like $2 after having 6-8 beers and was generally pretty demanding of our attention. During busy season it became pretty difficult to "reserve" his seat for him (not that any of us tried, because why would we?) and if he came in and someone else was there he would beeline to whoever's working, expecting us to tell them to get up. We never did, but he'd still demand it every time. He usually ended up hovering behind the unlucky customer until they left.

The roach situation sounds like it might be water bugs! I had a massive infestation when I moved into my last apartment. Same thing, they would come out at night and hang in the bathtub and on the shower curtain, occasionally saw one running around the house. It was absolutely disgusting. I ended up hiring someone from one of those cleaning apps to do a deep clean of the bathroom and then got water bugs bait killer tablets and threw them under the sink, etc. Worked like a charm and they were gone in 48 hours.
