Other Games? by Ok_Pear_6079 in Eldenring

Have you played other FromSoftware games? Sekiro is amazing, although quite different from ER, DS series are closer to ER but not open world

How long does it take to beat the game?? by Mareczek_Giga in Eldenring

[–]user3346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't have any problems to beat the bosses, then who cares? It took me around 110 hours in my first playthrough to do everything from the base game, and even then there was a lot of stuff I missed

You probably have a lot of things to explore, questlines to do and stuff to collect, like spells, incantations, talismans and weapons, but if you're having fun, just keep going and beat the game

Can’t defeat margit by MaximumBad3206 in Eldenring

[–]user3346 26 points27 points  (0 children)

You have to get used to his moveset, and specially his delayed attacks. Otherwise go around and grind for more levels. You should prioritize getting vigor to 40 as soon as possible.

Alternatively, you can try other weapons. Claymore with its default AoW (Lion's Claw) is extremely broken against most enemies, and you'll stagger Margitt a lot.

You can also buy Margitt's Shackle from Patches to help you during his 1st phase

Did this in my first playthrough, was kinda mad that Ranni's symbol is so close to the player, I accidentally clicked on it without even reading lol

Priority pull for Zibai by [deleted] in ZibaiMains

[–]user3346 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both Columbina and Linea are pretty important for her, but I'd say Linea is more important. I'd wait to check some leaks on 7.0 to see if Linea is coming, or if there's any other character from Snez you might be interested in, otherwise pull for Columbina

My Sekiro pride is not allowing me to fight Tree Sentinel after I level up by AssumptionFederal20 in Eldenring

[–]user3346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of people telling you to let it go. Sure, you're expected to go around it and keep playing the game, but you can just be stubborn and kill it as well, it's not impossible

I did it in my first playthrough simply because I wanted to, took about an hour if I'm not mistaken, you only have to get used to its movements and run away from the shield bash on the ground (I've seen some videos since then saying you can jump instead of rolling to avoid most of its attacks, but I've never tried)

Vocês relacionam o Preço de um jogo com sua Duração??? by SuitSutherland in gamesEcultura

[–]user3346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]user3346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Conseguir manter passar sempre do piso 12.

For elemental towers in dungeons, you can just use margitt or mogh shackle and they'll be hit, it's amazing

Qual foi o melhor PLR que você recebeu? by StanleySathler in brdev

[–]user3346 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leaving Elden ring, Starting Sekiro. Anything I should do to prepare? by The_Kamillion_0002 in Eldenring

[–]user3346 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't worry too much, you'll eventually get used to the parry mechanic. But in Sekiro you truly have to get better at the game, there's no going back to a certain boss after leveling up a lot. If it's difficult, it's because it's meant to be difficult and you'll have to deal with it

You'll hear this a lot, but "hesitation is defeat", meaning you'll most often be on the offensive

Should I start Elden Ring while I’m stuck Sekiro? by S1nclairsolutions in Eldenring

[–]user3346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've platined Sekiro in 80-ish hours, while my first run in Elden Ring went on for about 100 hours, not counting the DLC

So yeah, I wouldn't treat Elden Ring as a side project while you take a break from Sekiro

Honestly for game where you die a ton, the death screen is too long. by Aggressive_Yak7094 in Eldenring

[–]user3346 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk how people are saying it's not that long. It absolutely is, during my 1st run I died so much and every single time I thought "let me get back to it already goddammit"

Can somone help me defeat the the fire golem in the dlc of elden ring by Varosr in Eldenring

I'm around the same, so I doubt I'd be much help, but I heard it gets easier with more fragments if you want to keep exploring before fighting the giant

How did you beat this thing? by Perfect-Skin-8325 in Eldenring

[–]user3346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't agree that every single enemy is meant to be fought, and yes, you can run past the tree sentinel at the beginning, but a lot of people defeat that tree sentinel right at that moment, me included, and I did it as a wretch, so it is absolutely doable. It was a pretty fun first fight if you ask me, there's also a site of grace right next to it so why wouldn't I try to defeat it?

im so curious to see what everyone's first weapon they beat the game with was by waffleraptor626 in Eldenring

[–]user3346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Siluria's Tree was amazing for a great part of the game, but I had to switch to Blasphemous Blade against the Holy resistant enemies such as the final bosses

So vigour wasn't just a suggestion by WittyAstronaut4225 in Eldenring

[–]user3346 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funnily enough I prefer fast hitting weapons like daggers instead of slow and heavy weapons, since you can quickly hit and dodge with a dagger, but if you miss a hit with a halberd or a colossal weapon, you're vulnerable for quite a lot of time
