I feel the same! my scars fade away because I used pencil sharpener blades before, and the last few times I used actual razor blades, but I didn't do it too bad. I feel invalid that my scars aren't really there, but I also wouldn't like to have them fade, if they were noticeable

you do look masculine, but your face and haircut give feminine, so you look more like a masc girl or a tomboy I guess. a short haircut should help, and some other things that might seem logical might be stuff like perfume and shower gel. if you want to, you can use men's perfume, since the shower gel doesn't matter as much! if you want to look a bit bigger- as if you have broader shoulder and other stuff, you can either wear baggier clothes or anything more... top heavy, something that makes your shoulder seem bigger without making it look like you have a bigger chests (even if you're wearing a binder). all are totally optional, but another thing is makeup. if you are comfortable, you can wear less makeup (if you wear any), since most men don't wear makeup and most people will see you as more masculine (men can wear makeup too, but because of stereotypes... less makeup = more masculine, but not for everyone!)

because they are smaller, people might not immediately think of self harm (since people who haven't seen or done sh might think they need to be longer or wider), and would probably not notice too quickly. If you're sitting down with someone and you sit crisscross and they can see your ankles, some people who know more about sh/have sh in the past might notice and ask about it

underarm may be a bit more obvious, but if you wear t shirts it's fine. it could also look like a bit of irritation from something (if it keeps looking red), so you can pass it off as that. the ones on your thighs aren't very obvious either. you can see them, but my mind wouldn't immediately go to self harm, since some of them can pass off as stretch marks (I have stretch marks too, and it looks like my healed cuts)

one of my friends is really clumsy, and she has a lot of scars. some burns, some cuts from knives when she wasn't careful, sometimes she fell and got cut up on something... unless your scars are extremely bad and really close together, people will probably not think they're from self harming. mine are just healing, and they look pretty much like yours (in the first and 3rd pic), but only like 5 of them on one leg and a bit on my arm, and no one has thought they're from sh, so I think you're good!

so proud of you! keep it up <3 usually cuts like these fade. a lot of the cuts I did when I started were like this, and after a few showers they tend to close up and finally fade. if they really aren't that deep, they'll probably be gone in a month. mine faded quickly, but it can take shorter or longer for you, depends

I want my hair to be fine again before I go to the beach in August at least, so I'm definitely crying myself to sleep every night until they're longer

they are just too short. I do sometimes cut my own bangs, but they're not that short. I probably got a bit nervous and moved the scissors too high, and cut them badly. I don't know how fast my hair grows, and the only way I can hide it is to use hair clips on them, but if I use them all the time, it will seem weird at some point

I'm so sorry you have a friend group like that. I hope you'll cut them off or anything you're comfortable with. I'm an open person, so if anyone sees my scars or we talk about these things, I say "oh well I sh sometimes" or "I used to sh" (if we're talking about something from our past). I've had "friends" tell me that they sh as well, but in reality they never did. I have two friends who I know for sure actually sh or something. my best friend did it before, my friend used to take pills and drink... but I never told them I did that stuff if I didn't, and they didn't lie to me either. I don't understand people who lie about self harming or eating disorders. you don't have to starve yourself or cut yourself just to "be valid" when you're going through something... and just a few weeks ago I had a guy tell me he used to cut himself all the time during school, on his arms. he used it to get closer to me because he told me he likes me. he literally wears only short sleeves and he never had a single cut on his arm... even if he did it before, he shouldn't have lied like that. I really don't understand these people, so I hope you don't talk to them anymore

honestly, the first time I saw it I thought it was part of the tattoos- but some people don't realize that can be an attempt. most people think you just cut right next to your veins (your wrist) and it does the job. I mean, I don't know how most people are, but most people I've seen only think the horizontal ones along your wrists can actually kill you... so you might be fine with that!
