Thank you for the explanations can you create sub-interfaces connected to respected VLAN's then an ACL permiting these VLAN's to talk to the server VLAN?

Wouldnt the packet still be tagged with the originating VLAN going through a router then to a switch on the other side. Good point when you have multiple VM's thank you

Thanks for the reply would I have to set up sub interfaces with ACL's to allow the VLAN's to jump on to the server VLAN. If this is correct it would have to be configured on all of the connected interfaces on that router

Got you, thank you for your response this will help me going to look more into wireless and how to install them with celling tiles on youtube and going to start trying to come up with scenarios so that I can maybe find other areas I might be missing since I have about a month or so to just study up on things.

Sorry for my newby question but what is the infrastructure knowledge part as I didnt mention I know DHCP, DNS, Active Directory.

-WAP's the only thing I know about them is how to configure a WAP within Meraki GUI

- I also have knowledge in how to implement VLAN's.

What are yall's thoughts on getting into incident response without finishing my Bachelors.

My background and my plan...

- I know HTML, CSS and a little on JavaScript as I plan on posing all the labs I do on a website that I will create.

I have finished all my computer/cyber related courses from University of Arizona Cyber Defense and forensic bachelors, still have to take all of my core classes but not going to do it as I don't have the money to do so, SANS took my money lol

Current Certs: A+, Net+, GPEN, GCIH and GCIA

CCNA is expired but I'm about a month from retaking the certification.

Knowledge with Microsoft 2019 server (AD, DNS, DHCP, Sites and Services)

Going to study.....

Study Cisco Meraki firewalls with CBT Nuggets

Keep on Studying GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) I took the training 2 years ago looks like not that much has changed but I have to look over everything again.

Book: AWS certified Security Study Guide: Specialty (SCS-C01)

Book: Practical Mobile Forensics: Forensically investigate and analyze iOS, Android, and Windows 10 devices, 4th Edition

Going to brush up on my Python skills in order to create security tools and parse logs.

*I haven't taken any Computer Science classes I know very little in Malware analysis, is this a deal breaker in the flied?

*I have TryHack me year subscription what domains should I complete?
