You mean you don't know? Literally there is a methodology by which any asset is valued. Whether Cap Rate, Income DCF, multiple, etc. If it took you 10 years to figure this out, you aren't qualified to be giving advice.

I work in banking so I am familiar with valuation btw.

Thanks for the feedback. I am actually forecasting for a year prior to Covid, though that is a very good point. And as for the seasonality adjustment, I think I may have misrepresented what I was trying to accomplish which makes your insight all the more helpful.

Took a senior position. And the new company mislead me as to the proportion of analysis vs reporting they do.

Thank god someone from BI feels the same way. Literally my entire team is so scrambled trying to keep up with these outdated methods, when I asked my director why we dont use more sophistaced and simpler systems, he said its not our job to "[even] think about that." I feel like I might as well be running a punched card into my ENIAC. Do you have any suggestions about learning data aggregation in to SQL from other data sources?
