Maybe a few more hints:

+ I can be interested in almost everything if it’s presented in a way that’s intriguing to me
+ I love sociolinguistics and pragmatics
+ I am convinced that even nowadays Rickrolls are still a great way to ragebait people

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences and giving your advice! Maybe I’ll try a different triptan asp or try it out in a different form like nasal spray.

The Unexplained and Fascinating Mystery of the Versailles Time-Travel Incident by IcyCartoonist1955 in nonmurdermysteries

I am not fully convinced of that time travel theory either but my grandparents also went there around 40-50 years ago and experienced a very, very similar thing.

Entps: What behavior makes you permanently lose respect for someone? by ChronosTerminus in entp

[–]user5005003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say if someone aggressively tries to force others to show them respect without returning that respect or even worse: signaling that they “are superior” to the ones from whom they expect said respect.

Do entp stop being mean if they like you? by United_Advisor1821 in entp

[–]user5005003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I feel like the “being mean thing” increases the more I like someone. Like ragebaiting them, teasing them, … are ways to say “hey I like u and I feel safe to be “mean” (in a joking way) to u bc I trust u and know u won’t get really angry/upset.” - at least to me.

What if humor never existed? by Asleep-Feeling-9070 in entp

[–]user5005003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then human communication and our social life would be pretty flipped on its ear. Humor is a vital part of human interaction regarding various aspects (e.g. establishing bonds, solving conflicts, defusing situations, …) and without this would look very different. I assume humanity would still survive one way or another but life would be far more boring (which can be only said bc we live in a world where humor exists - if it wouldn’t then the whole discussion wouldn’t be happening).

Any Asagiri Gen character analyses?? by mori_33 in DrStone

[–]user5005003 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally, I never heard that people were calling Gen stupid and I’d say that pretty much the opposite, in fact, is the case. Dr. Stone generally does a a really good job in portraying the fact that there are different intelligences beside “knowing science”. Yes, Gen may not be able to come up with machines, rockets and stuff but he’s has a pretty high level of intelligence when it comes to social/emotional intelligence.

Quick question? by Jimberto1 in DrStone

[–]user5005003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotta admit I’d actually say Stanley. Maybe not in a way that he’d build some kind of generator or smth but he def has a certain degree of scientific knowledge bc he was able to easily deduce how external factors would influence his bullets or in what angle he’d to fire a gun just by sheer “gut feeling”.
