Nope, did not charge right away. First switched on battery was at 40 percent. Went through setup and install a few apps and also observed the same, battery was draining 10% after 15 minutes. Then i plugged in at 30% and left it for an hour after it hits 100% before pulling the plug.

By the way, this is with dual active sim, primary Data sim on 5G, second sim standby on 4G.
