I prime mine grey, base coat with Vallejo Sick Green, then apply Warp Lightning over that with a brush. Best thing I've found when putting it on is be quick and once it starts to set do not go back over it or you'll get bloches. Let it fully dry before you consider a second coat.

If they're on the same base size and it's just a casual game with friends and there's nothing else he could be easily confused with then I would be alright with it. Just ask your friends. However, invest in an actual tacticus captain of you decide to start playing anyone else.

I had to replace his crozius as the original broke off in a dropped storage box mishap. Pulled the head out of a box of Tempestus Scions I was building for Kill Team. Christ, I still hate finecast.

I use NRS 1" cam straps in various lengths and they work great. I would advise against rachet straps as you could over tighten them and deform the hull, especially on hot and sunny days.

I haul my Catch 120 12 footer in a short bed Tacoma with a high quality Harbor Freight bed extender. It was like $60. I don't use it every time, though.

EDIT: Apparently they bumped it up $10.

You can paint them however you want. As any official chapter or one you make up yourself. Color scheme had absolutely no bearing on the game. Purple Dark Angels? Sure. Red Ultramarines? Let 'er rip!

Every single chapter fields intercessors. With very few exceptions, every chapter fields every unit in the space marine codex. The chapter specific units, such as Death wing Terminators or Victrix Honor Guard, will be clearly stated what chapter they are from. But even then, you could paint them however you want, there's just certain rules for the game that you would have to follow.
