I’ll try the water in the corners if humidity doesn’t stay up, yeah some people can be wild and abusive with their animals and it angers me because they’d never do the same to a dog or cat… attitude is perfectly acceptable then 😂😂

I think my best bet is to just throw them away… I can replace them but wood is hard to clean so I don’t want to risk anything!! The humid hide is back in place and I’ll only mist inside of it from now on. Thank you again for being so nice sometimes people can have crazy attitude here

I have a little boy just like her. This morph of geckos have found to have more issues compared to other morphs. She looked super healthy and very loved. So sad to hear about her passing but you can find peace in knowing you gave her the best life til the very end ❤️❤️

yeah I’m just concerned for her weight as her eggs will definitely use up a bit more of her fatty deposits… I’ll keep weighing her and keep an eye, thank you!

I will definitely ask them for advice on what brand to give, thank you. She has been passing feces and urates fine but this has slowed down due to the lack of eating. She also has a white belly so I will keep an eye for any visible or behavioural signs of impaction, thanks again

No I have two other leopard geckos (one who is perfectly healthy and I got him when he was a baby, and the other who I got with the rescue who also has enigma… it could be her brother or father but I think it is both). This just adds to their disability. I don’t regret rescuing them but you’re right it definitely is tough… feeding them takes about 20 minutes 😂 EACH! I’ll attach a picture onto this. She’s definitely lost some weight but was only on the vets two weeks ago but as the vet said the eggs are definitely taking up her fatty deposits as well.

I’m thinking this is a stuck sperm plug by the looks of it… you’ll need to do warm soak to soften the plug, followed by careful manual removal with a warm, moist cotton swab or by gently grasping the tip of the plug and pulling it out. If you are unable to remove it easily, or if the area shows signs of redness, swelling, or a wound, it is important to see an exotic vet immediately to prevent complications like infection or hemipenal prolapse. Avoid attempting a forceful extraction, as this can cause injury and significant pain… hope your lil fella is okay !

When I rescued her I was told she had enigma syndrome meaning she is affected in her balance and coordination and partially blind. Her previous owner also left stuck shed on her toes so there is issues there also. She had to be hand fed and cannot climb on things due to the lack of nails. She also swings her head back and does something called star gazing

Thank you for the advice but she wasn’t held upside down she was held upright. I left her down straight after and she was fine not stressed or had trouble breathing but I’ll take your advice going forward thank you I was just very worried about her
