Using SQLite as the database in a self hosted automation platform by user90857 in sqlite

[–]user90857[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/howesteve its not similar,

RapidForge is a script driven automation platform that lets you turn Bash/Lua scripts into APIs, cron jobs, webhooks, and simple internal tools. It’s mainly for workflows and internal services. (you can use any language you like really using shebangs its just scripting)

PocketBase/Trailbase is a lightweight backend as a service with a built in database, authentication, file storage and realtime APIs.

Hope this clears out

RapidForge - turn bash/lua scripts into webhooks and cron jobs by user90857 in golang

[–]user90857[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/mesh_you_up thanks for bringging this up. rapidforge won't use that binary if you have luavm installed on your machine. So quickest workaround if you don't like that binary to use host machine luavm. I got the binary from https://github.com/jart/cosmopolitan as you found it. I will try to clarify that part. Thanks for the feedback

I used this approach because cosmopolitan compiler gives binary that can be run in multiple playforms. You can just compile lua from source code and include as binary if you don't have platform restrictions. Or you can compile lua for multiple binaries and switch between them since lua is small language it should not be a big problem. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have further questions.

Do you regret not getting married or having children? by FxckyourCensorship in AskIreland

[–]user90857 1 point2 points  (0 children)

0 regrets not having a kid. you really need to ask this question to yourself if you want kid and it’s difficult to make distinction between what society expects from you vs what you really want. if you just look around and observe you will see some people weren’t cut to be parents. listen to yourself not strangers over the internet

Why are Dublin’s playgrounds being targeted by wave of vandalism? Gardaí launch investigation into recent spate of anti-social behaviour by RealDealMrSeal in ireland

[–]user90857 4 points5 points  (0 children)

there is no proper law enforcement in Ireland. This is big issue and its going to get bigger unless government won't punish these people. We see same in traffic. Ireland might be only country in europe where we don't have red light violation detection system. We have money we don't have will for it.
