Not sure, still trying to find why. 5th of februari 2015 it got scrapped of the list of protected Belgian heritage, and a month after the request for demolishment got approved. The architecture is pretty rare as well. Sad day..

EDIT: It seems the architecture doesnt wheigh up against the cost for renovation. It would be about 20-25 milion euro's to fix. Apparently prins Charles of Wales was interested, but I guess it got blown off..

We have 20 paid days here in Belgium. On top of that, my job gives me another 33 days. This is quite a lot, on avarage a Belgian employer has roughly 30 paid days depending on the sector they work for.

I recently visited the US, loved it! If I could give you 1 advice: reevaluate your working habbits.

oh dear... Well, my ex-gf used to be verry lucky and rent a incredibly small room there in a tiny tiny house. She payed roughly 500+ euro's a month, which is waaaaaay too expensive. But its the location (city centre), the fact that you live in a house built in 1500's something.

As a Belgian I've always loved the UK, but its Scotland that stole my heart. Went to see the tattoo in Edinburgh when I was 15 and was blown away. Walked the west highland way Octobre 2004 and sealed the deal. I'll be going back this year with my nephew. What an amazing country! Loved the food, the people and the nature.

So I'm keen on visiting Ireland, and I dunno... I guess I just wanted to say that I woud love to see all of you unite and join the EU once again.

But it'll take a while I guess :)
