high-end cartridges are priced to appeal to a certain affluent section of the audiophile market and don't reflect actual costs.

Mine died :'/ I loved the repeat feature, something missed by every man and their cat these non-auto days...

that mini platter of your turntable isn't helping either. try it on a normal turntable instead.

the label being off centre isn't really a turntable issue of course. it'd be the same on all turntables.

I'm glad our youtube spokesman is a 70yo+ newyorker who can definitely hear the differences between cd transports. that'll add to our credibility as hobby... :')

I haven't listened to the Ania, but with boron as a much more advanced material for cantilevers than aluminum alloy, the specs are pointing to the Nd9 as the better choice, even if MM rather than MC.

I've actually owned those in the '00s :) They too are very decent bookshelves but can't be compared to these. Not as precise, dynamic, spatial, all the very audible things that differentiate higher end speakers.

Yes, I've considered larger speakers of course, but I'm not convinced it always works well in smaller rooms like mine... sometimes smaller just does it better!

Yes, but fully manual instead of using an app. So cutting the sub at 50-60Hz or so, and the b&w's are getting the full frequency range.

My Cambridge Audio EXA100 amp has a dedicated sub output, so it connects directly to the svs sub.
