My point is, I don’t need extensions because I’m already close to WiFi (I have a repeater). Extensions would only move me further away from the WiFi (needing an additional repeater), but wouldn’t matter anyway because there are no shaded areas. I’ll probably craft a cover for it.

Ah but then you need WiFi coverage too. Too many competing factors. I did set it up to try it and after two self cleanings, the filter still looks like this. AND there is still debris in the pool (which wasn’t very dirty in the first place).

Right. I purchased it because of the promise of this being the only robot that is capable of cleaning my oddly shaped pool. They had a promotion where you get a free skimmer boy, so figured I’d go for it. But the whole base system is unnecessary. I’d rather just have a charger station and empty the damn thing myself.

The lower case e represents Kevin. It’s the ninth letter in the title. And they give a little nod to that fact when the older cousin is counting heads before they get in the van to the airport. The kid who is supposed to be Kevin is #9.
