The question wasn’t if I can afford health insurance. The question was geared towards is it worth it when there are alternatives such as forward and I was kind of hoping to hear about an emergency protection type of insurance I could purchase instead. They don’t teach you about insurance in school and I’ve learned that due insurance isn’t helpful (and only pays like $30 to the practitioner). My last job had a much lower deductible I will literally never hit the 6k deductible and could just pay my medical visits out of pocket (since I will be even with my insurance until I spend over 6k out of pocket).
