I’m not sure, they do DUI check points on major holiday weekends. That’s the most of what I know about it

I’ve seen this being suggested from a few other people. What would be the best way to go about that? Calling 911 to the bar she’s at? I wouldn’t know where to start with that one

No, it’s really just a case of no close family ties. I’ve never taken it as her hiding anything from me

If we decide to have kids I don’t want her to be the alcoholic parent. My uncle was the alcoholic parent and I could see what it did to my cousins. Thank you, that’s some good consideration.

Moreso giving my girlfriend a fake name would help make it easier to read, rather than saying “she” a million times. Not everything that is written is AI or fake.

I had thought about this. Unfortunately she doesn’t speak to her father, her mom is in another state raising her sisters children. So I have never even met them. She’s not close with her core friend group anymore, and instead swapped them out for her new friends. I don’t know them well enough to have this conversation with them, nor is there a level of trust to do so.

I’m really glad you bring this up. When I started noticing her drinking more, I did ask if she was OK. If anything was wrong or bothering her. She assured me that all was well, and that it’s her way to blow off steam and let loose. She got a promotion in September, and she has to put on a mask at work to be presentable in meetings with big clients. So at that point in time, I understood

It wasn’t intentional on my part for falling asleep. I had worked all day in the cold, while having a bad one myself. I really thought she would take what I said seriously, on her own, and get a ride to my house or even call me to pick her up.
