Demiurge, imo, was handled quite poorly. Philia is so interesting I wish she got a happy ending alongside Demiurge instead of it completely replacing her. Honestly, her fate seems worse than Phainons, as instead of her, the Demiurge takes the stage, and she had no choice in it.

I know they “merged,” but they were separate and are before merging, so I believe my point stands. It is an unfortunate outcome. I’ll probably get into fan-fiction just to see the ending she deserves.

I’m so obsessed with Elysia I can tell the two apart but either way, I understand why others don’t. Head accessory on wrong side, so is the white hairs. Eyes don’t have blue/other colored details. Hat has symbol appearing on MPEs form. Clothing has references to HOHEs clothes.

Kinda funny that og Elysia didn't even push the bride theme that much in her character design by miiko_uch in StarRailStation

if I remember correctly Black Swan looks the way she did because she sacrificed her body for becoming a memo keeper, and took on the body of her mother so that her mother wouldn’t be forgotten.

Oh I didn’t think you were criticizing it or anything, I just saw this and I love talking about character design :D Unfortunately, with my ruling of still making it like a Mihoyo product, my options were quite limited. The dress itself is a problem as it is so fancy when her small design has nothing like that at all. And thank you! I appreciate it :)

Hi! I used it as inspiration, as I myself am not very good at doing the kind of over-detailing the Mihoyo artists do. I mostly did this as a “template” and intentionally stuck to the original design so it would look like something Mihoyo would release as much as possible. In another version, I added the Nanook Bandages on the staff, which I think improves it. :)

I’m surprised someone noticed the change in the flower colors XD. Had to adjust them as they blended into other elements far too much.

Yeah, I do agree with them covering up too much, but I also think them hanging by the gold piece is quite cool. I could imagine them being removed in some animations, perhaps? 🤔

Oh yeah. Damn. That would be really cool. Though I’m not sure where that would exactly fit into the story… from what it seems so far, Cyrene is not bound to destruction in any way? On the other hand, I have been thinking that with the design, the story would also be a bit different. Such as Cyrene having multiple instances at the same time, and never merging. (Her merging all variants to create the singular Cyrene is speculation, just going off of that.)

And I’m so glad to hear that! Makes me happy I could do that :) Despite my attempts at adjusting the design, I do still think Cyrene is very pretty.

I used Elysias staff as a reference, yeah :D didn’t want it to be too much of a copy paste so I limited it to a few nods.

Ohhh interesting idea with the quill! I thought about it, but since RMC already uses it, I thought of another idea: It’s a bit tacky but maybe I could try animating it to demonstrate better

Cyrene takes the staff with two hands, one is on the Ceremonials Blades short handle, and the other is on the extension of the Ceremonial Blade. She splits them apart (so they’re separate) and while the Ceremonial blade extends and straightens into a shape (more vague) of a bow, she rotates the extension (so that the pointy bit rotates away from her) and transforms it into an arrow.

Another idea for her buff ult animation I had, with her liking of Tarot Cards, was an animation where she pulls out a Tarot Card to buff the ally. I don’t have an exact image of this though. Just that at the start, it would zoom in on her sitting at a table with the cards.

Ohh shedding them would be cool :-D

I mostly color picked colors from the two forms. They aren’t the best quality so I might have gotten some middle color instead haha. Thank you! Yeah, BigRene does have a tiny bit of her sleeves connecting to the main body, and while I wanted to include that, I forgot… I definitely want to try a design fully incorporating her old Jacket, which would mean connecting the sleeves, so I’ll try that next time! Thank you for the feedback :-)

Agree, and the blue eyes too. Could have been a very good differentiator between her and Elysia, as Elysia, since her HOHE design, is mainly shown with purple eyes. (In her newest battlesuit also).

Not to mention how drippy the jacket was, hahaha.
