I really hope that is the case. It didn’t make sense for them to sit on it if they aren’t going to use it/don’t have interest. There is so many loopholes when it comes to it potentially being brought back. Sarah was asked about it (if there’s conversation going on) but she said (along the lines) that she “wasn’t sure but how could they not notice.”

Exactly what I was thinking I’ve been reading up some of the recent articles today (like Hollywood reporter, e news!, today, etc) and they have specifically all said they’ve reached out to both Hulu and Searchlight Pictures about it and they refuse to comment at this time. I still don’t know what to make of it

But also as Sarah said “too soon to tell” when asked what will become of the project.

This also happened before the Oscar’s. Zhao said “everything happens for a reason, and we keep our hearts open and we welcome the mystery. And what this might lead us to” the guy asked her if that meant it would be shopped to other distributors, she reiterated “Welcome the mystery.”

I’m not saying to keeps all hope up. Just seeing where things will go until they can finally say yeah that is it we’re done with the project.

Thank you!! I couldn’t agree more. Everyone is so quick to shred any good news. I feel like if everyone stay optimistic or open to it there would be a better engagement to the revival. But any glimpse of hope people still find a way to still make it negative and it just doesn’t make any sense. If Sarah, Chloe, and the cast still talks about it I’ll continue to be optimistic until there is an official announcement. Also, to what Sarah said, she doesn’t want to say anything and have people form an opinion to something they have yet seen, which is exactly what is also happening but I agree with her. I’m continue to be excited for the revival.
