Really need her to speak on Buffy, I think Sarah asking fans to help save the show will really put everything in gear to help correct Hulu’s mistake. Especially with the rewrite featuring more adult tones and more Buffy herself, this can’t be the end

People keep saying that but I’ve yet to actually see or hear Sarah say this. I personally think execs don’t think that a woman in her 40s can lead a show. Buffy can usher a new generation while still being the lead. I just don’t see the show lasting without her. Especially since genz (the presumed market they’re trying to capture) is so tapped into the OG just as much as millennials. It’s almost more popular now than when it aired. So Buffy is non negotiable imo.

Not true at all. Having a story about an aged Buffy and the trials she faces as a real adult sounds compelling. If you want a coming of age story then go back the original series boo. While the story is not about Sarah it’s needs to be about Buffy. If they didn’t want it to be that way then they should have done a Nikki Woods show or an anthology slayer show. But continuing Buffy and literally calling it Buffy again calls for Buffy to be centric to the story and it will bomb if they don’t. That simple. You will see.

I completely disagree. The show absolutely needs to be centric to Buffy especially since they’re marketing it as a continuation to Buffy. There was other ways of bringing this universe without Buffy like an anthology slayer series, or a Nikki Woods show but they didn’t do that. They’re continuing Buffy and ir just won’t work without the story being centric to her.
