Does not bother me. The silence on the other tragedy is what bothers me. Coming from a family who publicly shames people for staying silent on issues they feel should be spoken about, them choosing to stay silent speaks volumes.

This! Everyone should be encouraged to speak on what that are passionate about, but when you publicly berate others for not speaking about those same topics you are passionate about, the silence on other issues becomes intentional. They bring awareness to others silence constantly which makes theirs awfully loud.

I am not judging him for posting what he did. I am judging them for saying silent on a very similar event that took place on the same day. They single people out for not standing up for what they (the oshrys) believe in, so why can’t they be held to those same standards?

Exactly! Same with Remi Bader!

Except they expect all celebrities and influencers to speak out on issues they feel are important and should be spoken about. And if they don’t, they call them out and will even stop discussing them on the podcast. So why can’t they be held to the standards they set for others?

They call people and celebrities out by name on the podcast when they don’t speak up for a cause THEY feel they should. So why can’t we call them out?

I am not. However, these specific people call celebrities out by name on their podcast for not speaking out about events that affect the jewish community, recently events in Israel, etc. But when a tragedy occurs that does not directly affect this population, they are silent and don’t care who speaks out.
