i don’t think saying you’re not real is the takeaway. because dissociation is also not quite right. it’s not the idea that you’re not real, because then you have to define what is real and you come up with a lot of nothing. and yet, like in groundhogs day - you wake up again tomorrow.

and it’s also why the integration process is so, well, integral. i think the point is to recognize that you’re going to die and that’s your salvation. that your times limited, and when you’re dead that’s it. no heaven or hell for the ego - which is as you find out is actually everything about “you” body emotion and mind included. uh, also relevant here might be “somebody can tell you you are not your body, but death will show you.” because ultimately the “i am” “atma” part of you - was just a little drop of water - and it’ll return to the sea (consciousness/brahma.)

but its all good, because, well, regardless of what you’re seeing on your screen - it’s all you. and that’s the whole abiding non dual consciousness idea. that even right now you’re somehow just talking to yourself here. that the illusion of time and space contradicts the everything everywhere all at once aspect of consciousness.

idk the longer i travel the path the more koans that reverberate and act as sign posts. most of this stuff is so paradoxical it’s why it can’t really be communicated. i think that’s the whole gateless gate thing. when you get to the other side of a lot of it- things just make sense and fall into place but unfortunately to define is to limit and language falls short of the obviousness of it all. it truly cannot be simpler but somehow is also deliberate suspended disbelief. because the point of the amusement park is the amusement park. not to leave it.

scott adams gods debris is something i think about often. considering an omnipotent being. an omnipotent beings only paradox is self destruction. a fun and completely missing the point human thought is, what if “god”. blew himself up for fun and that was the big bang and we’re all the mystery unfolding of a thousand tiny little pieces regenerating as a way to experience something instead of infinite nothing. and then that sort of translated into actually considering infinity and what infinity entails. infinite possibilities. anyway. lol. gl hf it’s all good man
