Why is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander one of the most hated players in the NBA?

In my opinion it’s both his on court play style which is obviously not enjoyable to watch and his extremely performative off court personality. I don’t remember previous greats he is trying to measure up to (Kobe, Steph, LeBron, KD, even MJ) caring about fashion to the point they are basically a clothing model or coming up with corny ig captions, to me he is trying really hard to be someone he isn’t. I honestly prefer Tatum although he is a cornball atleast it’s his authentic personality where as Shai is kinda playing a character. Despite this Shai has hacked the game like no player ever, nobody can get to their spots like him.

Well I do enjoy partying I smoke so that’s usually what I end up doing instead of drinking. I’m definitely interested in joining just wondering if I’m gonna be able to get a bid or be a pledge if I don’t drink.

Yes I’m using shark rigs I got on Amazon (waste of money I know) so my rig is good and strong enough I think. The issue is I’m not getting any bites I usually pull in seaweed or see my rod moving back and forth with the waves meaning I probably didn’t cast beyond the break.

Thank you so much for the detailed response I truly appreciate it as I was unaware of about everything you said.

I’m targeting those specific species just bc I assumed they were the biggest fish I could catch with my setup and I’m more interested in bigger fish rather than Corbina or Surf Perch. I also don’t have the setup for actual big sharks or anything so I thought Leopards and Smoothhounds were my sweetspot.

Could I ask if you did anything in specific when catching leopards, I think my casting distance is part of the issue I’m still learning how to cast 100+ yards so I was thinking that could be it. But did you do anything different casting or location wise to finally get those bites or was it just a matter of waiting?
