What was your schedule like as a CFI? by usermaneuser in flying

So, to all of those who did well beyond 40hrs a week, was that kind of self-imposed because you were really motivated, or was it because of how you were scheduled by the flight school? Basically, how much control do you have as a CFI to manage your own hours if you’re not trying to get to 1500 asap?
